POSITION: Sub-Principal Investigator

Requirements:

  • M.D., D.O., or Ph.D.
  • Three (3) years experience


Responsibilities:

• Maintains an in-depth understanding of assigned protocols
• Responsible for safety of patients in study
• Ensures protocol compliance, performs documentation as required
• Performs physical and other exams as required by protocol and within specialty and training experience
• Signs CRFs and other documents as needed
• Communicates directly with sponsors and appropriate representatives
• Ensures compliance to inclusion / exclusion requirements
• Performs required procedures
• Reviews lab, EKG, EEG, and other reports
• Monitors patients’ progress
• Assists with new business development
• Responsible for regulatory compliance
• Consistently meets or exceeds study recruitment goals
• Performs informed consents as required
• Screen databases, charts and/or other documents
• Train personnel as needed
• Treat patients and colleagues with dignity and respect
• Work as a team player at all times
• Keeps all information confidential per sponsor’s requirements
• Accurately completes Adverse Event, Serious Adverse Event forms
• Available as needed for study processes and for patient safety, including being on call if required
• Available for talks, discussion groups, seminars, etc.
• Sign confidentiality agreement
• Will support protocols at local IRB meetings as required
• Demonstrate mature judgment, professional conduct and exhibit absolute frankness and honesty at all times
• Perform any other duties as needed
